About Mik Morley
Raised in Dubbo, NSW
Mik Morley is an Australian alternative rock singer-songwriter and guitarist. His solo debut, Give Myself, is a five-track EP that pairs raw emotional depth with radio-ready songwriting and polished musicianship.
Mik grew up in the isolation of a small country town in central NSW, Dubbo, and found solace and expression through music. His work has reached audiences across Australia and internationally.
As guitarist for rock band Lik-Wid he contributed to the band's national success from 2000, including becoming a finalist in the 2004 national SOYA MUSICOZ competition and releasing “Breathing For The First Time” in 2005. The track was mixed and engineered by ARIA Award-nominated producer Matt Lovell, whose credits include INXS, Silverchair, Grinspoon and Sarah McLeod.
“They're perfectly crafted modern rock songs with a meaningful lyrical mood. They could easily fit into any radio playlist in the country. A definite hit.”
